Terms of use
Version 2026-10
Passages in square brackets must be completed by the operator before going live. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. What Satio is
Satio is a support tool for adults on an appetite-suppressing treatment prescribed by a doctor: high-protein meal plan, tracking of weight, side effects and doses, link with the doctor. It is operated by [company name].
2. What Satio is not
- Satio does not replace your doctor or your dietitian. It makes no diagnosis and never changes a treatment or a dose.
- Nutritional values, meal suggestions and the AI assistant's answers are estimates, for guidance only.
- Reminders may arrive late or not at all (phone off, no network…): they do not replace your own organisation.
- In an emergency, call 144. Satio is not an emergency service and messages sent to your doctor are not monitored continuously.
3. Your account
- Satio is for adults only.
- You keep your password secret. We recommend turning on two-factor authentication.
- You can delete your account at any time from the Security and data page.
4. Doctors
- A doctor account is for health professionals authorised to practise in Switzerland. [The operator may verify professional status and suspend a non-compliant account.]
- Doctors only see patients who chose them or gave them a code, and remain solely responsible for their medical decisions and for professional secrecy.
- The AI-generated summary is a reading aid, not a medical opinion.
5. Proper use
You may not use Satio to access other people's data without authorisation, to try to bypass its security or for any unlawful purpose. An account that breaks these rules may be suspended.
6. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Satio available and reliable, but cannot guarantee this at all times. To the extent permitted by law, [company name] is not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of information from Satio.
7. Price
Satio is currently free. Any paid offer will be announced in advance and will only apply with your agreement.
8. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction: [town], subject to mandatory places of jurisdiction.
